What are the steps to place a listing?

You first step is to register. You can do so by following this registration link. From now on, you have access to the user menu
You can now place your add either by using the top menu or the user menu
Adding a listing is very straightforward. Please note that some information are required and unless you enter them you will not be able to publish your ad. The following information are required: Province/City/Postal Code as well as the listing type, the category, the price, a title, a short description, the number of bedrooms. Every other information is optional.
Adding the address and the optional informations will help you get more hits and more importantly will enable the map feature to localise your house/apartment/condos.
You are also able to add images and FLV video. This is a good strategy to increase the chances for your listing to be viewed.

How long are the listing displayed ?

Listing are kept for 30 days. After, that there is a 7 day period in which you can renew you listing. If you decide not to renew the listing, it will be simply deleted.

How many listing can I have ? How many pictures can I add?

You can have 50 listings at the same time. All listing are complety free and be used with no restriction. Also remember that you can use up to 12 pictures. You may want to take advantage of these to increase your chances for being viewed by prospective tenants. The first picture will be the one that is shown, so choose it carefully.

Can I modify or remove my listing?

Yes, you can change your listing at any time. To do so, you just need to login to your account. Once you are logged on go to my account/Manage Ads in "My Menu".

Does LOCADOCA.COM offer any type of credit check for tenants ?

LOCADOCA is a platform to connect owners and tenants. All the rental process and the details of the process are completed between the two parties. At no time does Locadoca get involved in this process itself. We do not offer any types of verification or credit check. If you have any questions or concerns about a potential tenant, you should run a credit check with the appropriate companies (such as Equifax).
